Self-service kiosk: guests choose, pay and skip the line

laKiosk is an iPad on a stand. Dine-in or takeaway → menu → cart → laPay QR. The guest pays on their phone and the receipt prints at the register. No cashier needed.

How the kiosk works

laKiosk is not tied to a table. It stands at the entrance or next to the counter. The guest first taps Dine-in or Takeaway. Then the menu: categories, photos, modifiers, 3 languages. Once the cart is ready, a laPay QR appears on screen. The guest scans it with their own phone and pays.

  • iPad plus stand, kiosk mode
  • laPay: one QR that accepts Payme, Click, Paylov, Uzum and cards
  • After payment the receipt prints at the register and the order goes to the kitchen

A lagman spot near Chorsu: 40 minutes of lunch queue

One register, one cashier. At lunch the line reaches the door. Two laKiosks go in by the entrance. Guests pick their lagman and tea, pay on their phone, take the receipt. The cashier now serves only cash customers. The kitchen sees orders from both kiosks in one queue.

What the owner sees

Kiosk orders reach the register alongside every other channel. In the admin panel the order-source report shows the kiosk as its own line. The menu is one per brand; you do not write a separate kiosk menu, only set channel visibility.

  • Live stop list from the POS: sold out disappears from the kiosk
  • Battery every 60 seconds in the device fleet, remote disconnect

Questions & answers

Software is UZS 250,000 a month per kiosk plus the UZS 500,000 branch base. The iPad and stand are yours. No plans, you pay for what you use.

No. The kiosk takes laPay QR only: Payme, Click, Paylov, Uzum or card, from the guest's own phone. Cash goes to the register.

Does the kiosk work with iiko?

Yes. The order goes through laBranch into iiko and the receipt and kitchen ticket print from there. It also works with r_keeper.

What hardware do I need?

An iPad and a stand. The tablet runs in kiosk mode so the guest cannot leave the app.

Does the kiosk ask for a table number?

No. Only Dine-in or Takeaway. If you need orders tied to a table, use laTable or laQR.

Is it a fit for fast food?

Yes, that is exactly the case: long queues, simple orders, fast payment. For a choyxona or table-service restaurant, laTable is the better fit.
